Workshop 1: How to Coach Disabled People in Sport

Suitable for all coaches, or those delivering activities, this workshop aims to answer the commonly asked questions about disabled sports participants and it will show you how, with a few minor adjustments to the way you work, you can make your coaching more inclusive and effective.

Workshop 2: Inclusive Communications workshop

The English Federation of Disability Sport Inclusive Communications workshop will help you come up with new ideas for engaging disabled people in physical activity and using tried and trusted principles of engaging with disabled people and their supporters. You’ll also get an overview of best practice in communicating with disabled people, including terminology, alternative formats and barriers to communication. The workshop will help you to design high quality programmes for disabled people and to promote these programmes effectively.
