The Special Olympics GB National Summer Games is set to be the UK’s biggest inclusive sporting event of 2026, with the programme culminating in a four-day multi-sport event right here in Birmingham from Thursday 27th until Sunday 30th August.
Competition day and Opening Ceremony tickets are priced at just £5 per session - with car parking available for £5 per day.
Please note that the start and finish times for each day of competition are currently to be confirmed (TBC) but are expected to fall between 10am and 5pm. Further information will be shared with all ticket holders in advance of the event so please keep your eyes on your inbox once you've purchased your ticket!

What are the 2026 National Summer Games?
The Special Olympics GB National Summer Games is the UK's biggest inclusive sporting event of 2026.
This transformational event provides more than 1,200 athletes with an intellectual disability the opportunity to compete across 15 sports in a new hybrid format.
Following eight single-sport National Competitions staged across England, Scotland and Wales, the Games culminate in a four-day multi-sport event in Birmingham from 27–30 August.
Competitions take place at the Alexander Stadium, Wyndley Leisure Centre, the Gymnastics & Martial Arts Centre and the High Performance Centre, bringing together athletes, families, volunteers and supporters from across Great Britain.
Beyond the medals, the Games celebrate courage, friendship and inclusion, challenging perceptions of people with intellectual disabilities while demonstrating the transformative power of sport to build confidence, independence and lifelong friendships.
