Mote Park Outdoor Adventure has a new Manager!
Now that Mote Park Outdoor Adventure has reopened its doors for the season, you’ll see some new faces around. Maggie Smith is the brand-new Facility Manager, and she is ready to make your next visit the best yet!
Maggie, 21, has been in the Leisure industry since she was 16 years old. Previously working in Leisure Centres in customer-facing, staff training and management positions, she is looking forward to bringing her skills to a “completely different challenge.”
“I have always enjoyed being outdoors and wanted to combine this with my love of leisure”, she says “I loved how unique the site was in its offering, it is a place that I would like to go myself when looking for a day out with my family.”
Maggie has been working hard with the team in the off-season to ensure that customers get a “Top-Notch” experience this year:
“I love to bring lots of creativity and enthusiasm when looking at new ideas for the park, after all the park is completely different to anything else…”
“To bring new and fresh ideas to the park and elevate our customers’ time with us is something that I am really looking forward to in the new season.”
One of the most important things to Maggie, when she is in the park with her team, is to be able to support and connect with her customers. Being a people person the ability to help customers overcome their fear of heights on the Sky Trail or give top tips to little adventurers on the Dino Golf course is something she most looks forward to for the up-and-coming season.
Maggie is also a thrill seeker; she says her favourite part of Mote Park Adventure is the 32ft High Ropes on the Sky Trail or the 32ft Climbing wall. However, for people who aren’t as adrenaline pumped as Maggie, she recommends the Segway Terrain for a speedy thrill. “Even for those a little wary of the climbing wall or sky trail, the sense of accomplishment I see on people’s faces when they have overcome that challenge is something that I encourage all to do if you can. It is a great way to get the family outdoors this summer”
At Mote Park Outdoor Adventure there is a great team of staff on hand to help you through whatever challenge you are planning to try, and Maggie is certainly a great asset to the team!
