What to expect

Getting to the centre

When you arrive at Water Meadows Leisure Complex, you’ll find everything clearly signposted to help you get to where you need to go.

If you’re driving, there’s on-site parking available for up to 2.5 hours. Just remember to register your vehicle on arrival using the parking validation machine and collect your registration ticket.

If you're travelling by public transport, there is a bus stop conveniently located nearby on Nottingham Road, making it easy to reach the centre via bus.

For those cycling in, bicycle racks are available outside the centre so you can securely lock up your bike during your visit.

Head inside and you’ll find reception right at the main entrance — this is your first stop for checking in, asking questions, or getting pointed in the right direction by our friendly reception team.

From there, follow the signage to make your way to the gym, pool or studios depending on what you’re here for. If you're unsure where to go, a member of our team will be happy to help.

Swim Information

Swimming Lessons

When you arrive, check in at reception before heading to the pool changing village. Lockers are available for your belongings and require £1 to use.

Children should be taken to the poolside drop-off point by the pool gate a few minutes before their lesson begins. Their teacher will collect them from this point at the start of the session and bring them back to the same location at the end for collection.

Parents and guardians can watch lessons from the poolside spectator seating area from the balcony during the session.

If you have any questions about your child's lesson, changing stages or progress, our reception team will be happy to help. If you're ever unsure where to go, just ask a member of the team and we'll point you in the right direction.

General Swimming

Whether you're looking to enjoy a leisurely swim, improve your fitness, or spend time with family and friends, we offer a range of swimming sessions to suit everyone, including family fun swims, lane swimming and more.

When you arrive, check in at reception and head to the changing village. Lockers are available for your belongings, and showers can be used before and after your swim.

Once you're changed, follow the signage to the poolside. Please allow yourself a few extra minutes if it's your first visit so you have plenty of time to get settled before entering the pool.

Our pool timetable may vary throughout the week, so it's always a good idea to check your booking confirmation or the latest schedule before you arrive.

Whether you're swimming for fitness, relaxation, or family fun, our team is on hand to help if you have any questions during your visit.
